Rhinoplasty (also known as nose reshaping or nosejob surgery) is a surgical procedure which is performed to change the shape of the nose for cosmetic reasons, breathing difficulty or both. The “non surgical rhinoplasty” or “5 minute rhinoplasty” is a different technique and is discussed separately under the “non surgical rhinoplasty” section. Otoplasty (also known as ear reshaping) is a procedure to fix a misshapen or prominent ear. The ear might be misshapen from birth, or have occurred after an injury. The procedure is minimally invasive with either no incisions or, a small invisible incision behind the ear. Recovery is quick; with only mild bruising and discomfort for one week. The procedure is done under local anesthesia or sedation depending on patient preference and the planned repair.
